Standard HVAC Preventive Maintenance

Typically every fall/winter and spring/summer

Preventative Maintenance.
  • Test thermostat to make sure it’s cycling the system on and off properly/schedule
  • Calibrate and adjust all thermostats and controls 
  • Run and test economizer components and setpoint as conditions allow
  • Recommend repair options 
  • Test and inspect equipment components and functions 
  • Inspect for leaks and diagnose problems/Refrigerant oil stains
  • Check and replace air filters
  • Lubricate all moving parts as required
  • Check, adjust or replace belts
  • Inspect burners
  • Check electrical & wiring connections 
  • Inspect gas connections for leaks 
  • Check refrigerant pressure levels and inspect for leaks
  • Check safety interlocks
  • Clean condenser coils to ensure proper air flow
  • Minor adjustments
  • Check voltage and amperage
